Kunstenaar Betty Jansma
Betty Jansma-IJzerman was born in Heerde in Holland in1942. Today she lives and works in Kampen.
As a child she had a special talent for drawing and during her education and later on in her work as a teacher, drawing and painting has been a very important part of her life.
She has taken lessons from various well known painters.
Betty works in water-colour, acrylic and mixed techniques, in which her use of bright colours is striking. She brings a balance in her enthusiastic compositions.
She has a very clear and impressionistic style combined with a feeling of expressionism.
Her work has been shown in many exhibitions and she has won various awards for her work.
She hopes very much that you will enjoy looking at her paintings.
