Kunstenaar Roy Simpson

"The artist and illustrator Roy Simpson was born in 1951 and brought up in the Potteries, in England.As a child he was inspired to start drawing and sketching by his enjoyment of the comic book illustrations of his time and this eventually led to him earning a Diploma in Painting and an MA in Ceramics. As a professional artist, he now describes the style of his work as “imaginative realism” and he works in a number of different commercial artistic fields, calling himself “an all-rounder”.He draws, paints and sculpts and, away from the easel, his principal hobby is walking he walks at least 50 or 60 miles every week."
