Kunstenaar Yvonne Poelstra-Holzhaus
Yvonne Poelstra-Holzhaus (1946) was born in Naarden – a city in the West of Holland.
She worked as a free-lance photograph and she got more and more a feeling to change her live and work.
In 1990 she started to paint flowers in such a particular/ exclusive way, that she as self-taught women was developing her own style.
A “YVON” you will recognize from far away by the clear and photographic way of painting.Her use pf colour is unique.
Abstract, but never the less recognizable as flower, that is her starting-point.
“People are looking in a different way to nature, because of my paintings. If you can achieve that trough your paintings it is huge.”
